Reflections from a residency in Bosnia and Herzegovina: open calls, building, the small things that keep showing up.
Four artists come to Boraviшte, the main Artist in Residence programme at Zvjezdane Staze, across 2026. Bokyung Jeong (Zarim, South Korea), Fatima Lahham (UK), Tea Zvizdić (Denmark), and Charlie Komšić (Australia). Each comes with their own project; each stays in their own rhythm. The first edition of TEREN_SЛОЈЕVИ opened for applications in May 2026 · a two-month residency for three artists, July / August 2026, supported by Culture Moves Europe. The call is now closed; selection announced 8 June 2026.
Many countries offer outgoing mobility grants that allow artists and researchers to choose their own destination. Our funding guide lists programmes from across Europe, organized by country, that can support a residency at Zvjezdane Staze.
